meet greer · your daily accountability

Discipline beats inspiration. Greer is how you do it daily.

An AI coach with a memory. She holds you to the aim you named, watches the hours you said mattered, and writes you the truth each Sunday — for ninety days at a time.

You've set the goals. The trouble is the next twelve weeks.

You've read the books and named what matters. Then the inbox arrives, Tuesday vanishes into Friday, and by week three the aim is something you used to care about. It isn't a willpower problem. It's that nothing is holding the thread between who you were on Sunday night and who you actually are at 6:42 on a Wednesday morning.

what greer is

A coach who remembers, in the pocket where you actually decide.

Greer is text-based AI accountability built around one idea: the only thing that compounds is hours that come back tomorrow. She helps you name your season's aim, sits quietly with you for ninety days, and shows up where you already are — calm, exacting, and on your side.

your week with greer

What actually arrives, and when.

daily
A short nudge each morning.
Specific, not generic. Built around the aim you named and what happened yesterday. Two or three sentences. Read it on the way to the kettle.
weekly
A "return on your time" note each Sunday.
Compounding hours, maintenance hours, leak hours. One sentence of context. One soft question to set up the week ahead.
seasonal
A real check-in at days 30, 60, and 90.
Recalibrate the aim if it's shifted. Lock in the next season if it hasn't. The point of a season is to look squarely at what moved.
the difference

Most reminder apps forget you the moment you close them. Greer remembers.

She holds the thread across weeks. She knows the aim you named, the windows you said you'd protect, what worked last Tuesday, what didn't, and what you've quietly stopped doing. That memory is the entire point — because discipline isn't a willpower problem, it's a continuity one.

a look at greer

Two short pieces from a real week.

Not a screenshot of an empty app. The actual shape of what arrives.

Gr Greer Wed · 6:42 AM
Morning, Andy. Yesterday you put 38 minutes on the book — your best day this week. The block held from 6:15 to 6:53. Same window today?
Gr Greer · your week Sun · 7:00 AM
18 to 24 May. Aim: draft chapter 3.
Compounding5h 12m
Maintenance9h 00m
Leak3h 30m ↓ 2h
The shift came from Wednesday. The 6 AM block held three days in a row — most of last week's gain is sitting in that one window. Want to lock the same block Monday through Wednesday next week?
under the hood

What she remembers — and how it's kept.

the memory
She remembers like a coach, not a database.
The aim you named. The windows you protect. What worked last Tuesday, what you avoid when you're tired, and how you talk yourself out of things. Greer keeps structured memory across the whole season — so day 60 builds on day 3.
the commitments
Say it once, and it's on the record.
Tell Greer you'll hold the 6 AM block through Friday and she holds you to it — gently, by name, with the follow-up. Every commitment is logged, and when you close one out, your own reflection on it is kept too.
the vault
Written to her, locked to you.
Your messages, memories, and commitments are encrypted in the database. Nothing you write trains any model, and none of it is ever sold. Payments run through Lemon Squeezy, so your card details never touch us. Ask, and we delete the lot.

We work in seasons. Ninety days, one aim.

Long enough for hours to compound into something. Short enough to look squarely in the face and commit to. Each season ends with a short note from Greer telling you what actually moved — and a clean choice about whether to renew the aim or change it.

questions

The honest questions.

What if I miss a day?

You miss it. Greer doesn't lecture. She'll note it, ask if anything's changed, and pick back up. The point of a season isn't perfect days — it's directional ones.

What if my aim changes mid-season?

It can. Greer expects this — there's a real recalibration moment at day 30 and day 60. If the aim shifts permanently, you name the new one and the memory carries forward. Pretending you still care about something you don't is the actual waste.

How is this different from a habit tracker or a journal?

Habit trackers don't remember you across weeks. Journals don't talk back. Greer holds the thread — she knows what you said last month, what worked last Tuesday, and what you've quietly stopped doing. The memory is the moat.

How is this different from a human coach?

A great human coach is rare, expensive, and unavailable at 6:42 on a Wednesday morning when you're about to skip the block. Greer is in your pocket. Not better than a great coach — but there every day, and remembering every week.

Where does Greer live?

A web chat for now — mobile-shaped, works in any browser, no app to install. A native iOS app is on the roadmap, but later, not next.

Is my data private?

Yours, and locked down. Your conversations, memories, and commitments are encrypted in the database. We don't sell or share your data, and we never use your aims or notes to train any model. The full plain-English details are at /privacy.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. The monthly stops at the end of the billing month. The annual refunds the unused months pro rata in the first 30 days.

Who is Greer for?

People in the back half of their working life who've stopped expecting the next breakthrough to come from another book, and who'd quietly like the next ninety days to look different from the last ninety. If that's you, she'll fit.

from andy

I'm Andy — the person building Rare Practice. I'm in my mid-fifties. I've spent twenty years studying how good investors handle money: patience, position-sizing, the long game. I built Greer because the most expensive thing I own is the next ten years, and I kept losing them in 48-hour-shaped pieces. Greer is the structure I built so I wouldn't. She's been with me through three seasons now. If she sounds like the kind of company you'd want for yours, the chat is one click away.

An exceptional life is not found. It is practiced.
